Meet the Owner

Hello everyone!

I am very excited to introduce myself as a Certified Pet Groomer in Brunswick County.

Here's a little bit about myself...
I worked in the legal field for 10 years as a paralegal. Working in a professional office environment was very rewarding, but in 2013 I decided to make a complete career change and pursue a lifelong passion of mine, working with animals! I chose a renowned school in California (Animal Behavioral College) and completed my grooming internship in one of the busiest grooming salons in Southport, NC. There I trained with show dog pet stylists. Once I graduated in early May of 2015 I decided to run my very own private grooming salon from home. And in March of 2017 I found a GREAT location to open up our wonderful doggy salon and spa right on Highway 17! My goal is to give personal attention to each and every pet that comes in for a visit! I believe every dog should have a grooming experience that is stress free and catered to their needs. Rushing through the pampering process is not in my vocabulary. I want to do what I LOVE and LOVE what I do!

Warmest Regards,

Jael Yancey, ABCPG

Meet the Spa Manager & Lead Groomer

Saying that she is an animal lover can only begin to describe Nicole! Her love for animals has motivated her to find various fields in which to care for them. Her journey started in 2004 working at Seaview Equine Learning Facility (S.E.L.F.). A nonprofit corporation in New Jersey, that offers equine assisted therapy programs for autistic children. She then graduated as a CNA in 2010, during which time she completed her internship at a Veterinary Hospital in Brunswick County. During her time at the Veterinary Hospital she also received Pet CPR training which was put to very good use in assisting with wild life animal rescue and rehabilitation.  She is a loving wife, mother and keeper of any animals that need a good home. From ducks to dogs, she will care for them all! Nicole's pursuit of working with animals brought her to join our team in August 2017 and we couldn't be happier!

Meet the "Floor Manager" :-)

Jack has been along for the ride from the very beginning with his mommy (Jael). He has been through it all; from working the front desk, walking dogs, hours of cleaning, being a grooming test subject, and all those late nights with mommy working on making the Spa a cozy and beautiful place for all of our guests! That is why he has earned the Title of Floor Manager at WTHH! :)
